Shapes Inside!

This Is my Shapes Inside slide, you have 30 seconds to read it. I found it challenging to find some of the shapes around the classroom. My favourite part was the Doritos that are the triangles. I hope you enjoy it!

 Is Mr Wolf Guilty of First Degree Murder?

Firstly, the Big Bad Wolf is guilty because he dressed up as grandma to try and eat Red Riding Hood. But it is the Big Bad Wolf's Instinct though. But instead of eating grandma why did he not eat a squirrel or something else? Another reason why I also think he's guilty is because he broke an Entrance into Grandma's house without permission.

Secondly, He locked grandma up in the closet. Why did he not just stay at the door and wait for Red Riding Hood to tell her that it was not her grandma because she was acting strange because he didn't let her in? instead of pretending to be grandma? 

Lastly, animals can not go to jail and it's his Instinct to eat meat, but Red Riding Hood is not hurt in any way and same with grandma. So what do you think? Should The Big Bad Wolf be in jail? Or should he not? 

My Cat Robot

In class we are learning to summarise across multiple texts. I would use it to clean my room. I published this blog post on the first day of the 3 day lockdown. I do not mind being in lockdown. But school is better though, you might not think that it is the best but I do. I found it challenging to create a robot built out of shapes because I am used drawing it. My favourite part was the eyes because they were cute. Next time I would do a different slide, maybe about how plastic harms the environment.

My Robot

For my homework I made a robot out of leftover boxes. My favorite part was the eyes because they are googly eyes! I found it challenging to stick the eyes on because they kept falling off. I found the antennas (that was straws) interesting. Here are some photos of my robot.

Sophie Pascoe Report

In class we are learning to use paragraphs. We had to stick to one topic in our paragraphs. We also had to use a first sentence that is my topic sentence, and we had a use 2-3 supporting details, and my last sentence is an concluding sentence, 

I liked learning about Sophie Pascoe. It was very exciting. I found it challenging to use my topic sentence, because I don't really use topic sentences and I'm not used to it. My favourite part was learning about Sophie Pascoe.

Here is my report.

Sophie Pascoes event is swimming. She has five medals - 3 golds and one silver. She is an NZ swimmer.

Sophie Pascoe is 28 years old today. She grew up in Christchurch. She has one sister. Her name is Rebecca Pascoe.

 On 23 September 1995 Sophie Pascoe was accidentally run over by her father on the family lawn mower!

Sophie Pascoe broke a world's record while taking her total to 15 Olympic medals. Sophie Pascoes achievement is swimming at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Kowhai

 In class we are learning to summarise. Summarise means to tell in or reduce to a short statement of the main points. It was really fun to learn about Kowhai trees, it was very interesting. I found it challenging to draw a good picture of a Kowhai flower, because I haven't really done it before. Next time I might do aloe vera.

Japan!

 In class we have been learning to skim and scan. I enjoyed learning about Japan. I think Japan is really interesting because of their native animals, and how they dress. My favourite native animal in Japan is a Red Panda, and I love Red Pandas so much because they are very cute. I found it quite easy to find the facts. My favourite part was the animal slide because it had a Red Panda on it. I hope you enjoy reading my slideshow. 

The Olympic Games (ESports)

Should ESports be in the Olympics? Justify your reasons. 

An ESport is an electronic sport (gaming). I think that gaming should be in the Olympics because if someone has a talent then they should show it to the world.

My Olympic Games Sun Mascot.

 In class we are learning about Olympic mascots. My class and me all made a mascot. Except we did not do it on a piece of paper. We drew it on chrome canvas. Chrome canvas is like drawing on a piece of paper except it is on your chromebook. We had to draw it about our country, so that it could represent a country. I also found it challenging to colour in the background blue because it took me ages. My favourite part was her wavy sunraisers. Next time I would change it to a Kiwi because it is one of our most Popular native birds.

I chose a sun becasue New Zealand is the first to se the sunrise.

Deaf Dog learns Sign language.

 So far I am on my last slide for the day I hope you enjoy it!

What I found challenging. Was to find a dog gif.

My favourite part was my background.

What I found an interesting was that a dog learned sign language!

Next time I would change the animal I was learning about.

Chocolate Frog Found In New Guinea.

 I do not know what to write because I do not know anything about chocolate frogs but hopefully my slide will.

What I found challenging. Was to find a gift that was a Brown frog.

My favourite part was my link.

Next time I would change everything.

World Bee Day.

I was learning to.  Locate and summarise idea within a range of texts.

 At home I am working on a slide and I have finished it. I did it at home because I have a sore throat. I kind of Miss being at school because I like the weekend so much and sometimes I never want it to end.

What I found challenging. Was to link the article.

My Game.

In class we have been coding, I have been coding on Gamefroot. Gamefroot is a site when you code your very own game. I have created a background, chosen a character ad coded the character to move right, left, up and down. I have also added lava pits and kumara. I found it easy to choose a background but I found it really hard to code my player. Kylah helped me. I think I am finished my game. Do you agree? What did you enjoy about my game? What changes do you think I could make?

My June Reflection.

In class I did my june reflection. I have not so done I match reflection and another one. I also had another buddy but she had to go with someone else. 

What I found challenging. To finish it on time.

My favourite part was snow flakes on the side of the June.

What I found interesting. Was that we did so much in half a year!

 

What is the life cycle of a butterfly and bee.

I was learning to: I was using a diagram to help my reader understand. A diagram is a drawing or plan that shows the parts of something or how the parts work together. My success criteria was to use a diagram, label my diagram .and also explain my diagram.

 What I found challenging: To write all of the writing in time.

My favourite part was the be and the butterfly backgrounds.

What I found interesting. Was that bees had five eyes.

How rainbows are formed?

A rainbow is a multi - coloured circle in the shy. Did you know white light is made up of 7 colours? Put a mirror in a glass of water in a dark room. And shine a torch on place a paper over it and break up sun's white light into a rainbow and then  you will  see seven colours.
